PROOF WE ARE LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS BEFORE JESUS RETURNS

In Zechariah chapter 14 we read about a battle that is still to take place.

It is one of the final battles that will take place before the return of Jesus to reign on and over the whole world for eternity. In this chapter Zechariah describes the use of a terrifying weapon that will cause the people on the battlefield to experience among other things the melting of their eyes in their socket.

Until relatively recently this sounded like a pipe dream which could never take place. Until 1944 it remained so, then a bomb was dropped in Japan that produced the identical results for people and a whole lot more. This was the first use of atomic, now nuclear weapons. Now they make weapons up to 100 megatons which is equal to 100,000 tons of TNT.

Although they are making bombs these days which would be equal to 100,000 tons of TNT there are still weapons in stock that are smaller and known as field nuclear weapons which cause death and destruction over a much limited scale. These are known as field nuclear weapons because they are designed for death and destruction over a much smaller North and South area.

Zechariah also describes the Mount of Olives splitting in two, (North and South), when Jesus returns and stands on the mount of Olives.

This also was thought to be a pipedream, not a reality - until in the early 1900s geologists discovered that it sits on a fault and only discovered it then because they got tremors in that area which showed they were coming from the Mount of Olives. Now the same geologist has said that they think the tremors are a forerunner of a much bigger quake that is yet to come.

Further scientists have argued for decades that the so-called Turin Shroud which refers to the cloth that Jesus was wrapped in when taken down from the cross is only 5 or six hundred years old. However, in recent years people have tested the blood stains on the cloth and the separate head piece which is in Spain somewhere.

The result of these tests on the blood stains of both the shroud and the head piece revealed evidence of who the mother was but no evidence whatsoever as to who the father was, exactly what you would expect from a virgin birth.

There are rumoured to have been other virgin births in mythology, but all these are said to have been female due to the absence of the male chromosome. Jesus was born male, another miracle for mankind to get their heads round.

These are just three examples of what The Bible tells us of what will happen immediately before the return of our Saviour and Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ.
