SIGNS OF THE TRUE MESSIAH'S RETURN

Numbers chapter 2 verses 1 to 3 inclusive give instructions to the twelve tribes as to how they should encamp around the tabernacle when it is set up. "The Lord spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

On the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah." This means that right in front of the entrance to the tabernacle is the tribe of Judah. Therefore anyone coming out of the presence of God in the tabernacle must come through the tribe of Judah.

Similarly when the true Messiah returns to set up His kingdom on earth for 1000 years His ancestry must be able to be traced back through the tribe of Judah and even right back to Adam. Many theologians think that when the false Messiah appears, the one who will in reality be the devil taking on a human body then his ancestry will be traced back to the tribe of Dan.

This should therefore make it clear to God's people that He is a false Messiah and not the true one. However, during these last days many will be convinced and follow him mistakenly believing him to be the one they have been waiting for because of the apparent miracles he will be able to perform amongst them.

One of these signs or miracles will be to call down fire from heaven as Elijah did in his day. Revelation chapter 13 verses 11 to 14 inclusive give us another clue as to how we can identify the false Messiah. "I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

He exercised all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceives those who dwell on the earth by means of these miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image of the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."

We see from these verses that he is able to call down fire from heaven which is one of the things Elijah did in his time and is recorded in 2 Kings chapter 1 verses 9 to 18 inclusive. "Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty men. He went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of a hill.

He spoke unto Elijah, Man of God the king has said, come down. Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, if I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and the fifty men with you. And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with fifty men. He said to Elijah, man of God, thus has the king said, come down quickly. Elijah answered and said unto them, if I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.

The fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men. The king sent another captain of fifty and men fifty men. The third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and begged him, saying unto him, oh man of God, I pray you, let my life, and the life of these fifty servants, be precious in your sight. Behold, fire has come down from heaven and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifty men: therefore let my life now be precious in your sight.

The angel of The Lord said to Elijah, go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king" One of the reasons this miracle will be able to be performed by the false messiah is because the Jews are expecting the literal return of Elijah who will introduce their Messiah to them.

These people will be fooled into believing that the person accompanying the false Messiah is the real one because he will be introduced by one who is allowed to perform such deceptive miracles.

The second sign that this is the false Messiah is the fact that they are commanded to make an image of the beast and to worship it and the beast. This cannot be ordered by the true Messiah since one of the ten commandments is that no image of anything in heaven or on earth shall be made, neither shall anyone bow down and worship anyone but the one true and living God who created all things.

A further sign of the true Messiah is written in Zechariah chapter 14 verses 1 to 4 inclusive. These read as follows: "Behold, the day of The Lord comes, and your spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Then shall The Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle. His feet shall stand on that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall move toward the north, and half of it toward the south. "This only the true Messiah can do.

Many bible scholars thought that this was a metaphorical reference because they could not understand how the Mount of Olives could split apart as described here. Then with the advancements of technology in the twentieth century it was discovered that there is a fault line running through the Mount of Olives serious enough to create an earthquake that would cause this very thing just as it described in this scripture.

The true Messiah descending onto the Mount of Olives is the fulfillment of the words of the angels to Jesus disciples when He ascended into heaven. This is recorded in Acts chapter 1 verses 9 to 12 inclusive read: "When he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

While they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; who said, you men of Galilee, why stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into heaven, shall return in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven. Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount Olives which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey."

Further, in the discourse concerning end time signs Jesus said that His return would be unmistakable as it would be seen by all. Matthew chapter 24 verse 27 reads: "For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also be the coming of the Son of man."

Not until satellite technology was developed in the latter part of the twentieth century has it been possible for any event to be seen by the whole world at the same time. The most recent example of this was the coming of the new millennia. On that occasion people in the western world were able to watch an event happening in the extreme eastern part of the world as it occurred.

For centuries theologians have been puzzled by two scriptures, one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament. The one from the new testament is from 2 Peter chapter 3 and verse 10 which reads: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

What could this possibly mean? How is this going to happen? The other scripture that had puzzled theologians for centuries was from Zechariah chapter 4 verse 12 which reads: "This shall be the plague wherewith The Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem;

Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth." During the Second World War everything was being done to prevent the Nazis from conquering the world.

Warfare technology was developing at a tremendous pace. Rocket technology was born, and kept secret from all but a few studies were going on to build what was then the most destructive weapon ever known to man. It was the nuclear weapon dropped on Hiroshima.

The result of being subjected to this bomb was that those people out in the open, their flesh burned away whilst they were still on their feet and their eyes melted in their sockets. An amazing prediction of an event more than 2000 years into the future had taken place. Obviously this was what Zechariah had been describing. With nuclear weapons the elements literally melt in the heat.

Though they lived hundreds of years apart we now know that Peter and Zechariah were describing the same thing, the nuclear weapon which was not invented until close to the middle of the 1940s.

In Matthew chapter 24 verses 32 to 34 inclusive we read: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near: so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, until all these things have been fulfilled. "Which generation? Clearly the generation of those who live whilst these things are coming about."

Verse 32 speaks about the blossoming of the fig tree and Jesus says that when it starts to blossom you know that you are very close to summer. In 1948 Israel once again became a nation, and for its national emblem they chose… the fig tree. This could be co-incidence but it is much more likely that it is the fulfillment of what Jesus was speaking about in these verses.

In Revelation chapter 9 verse 16 John saw an enormous army, the number of the horsemen was two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. In his day even that number of people were unlikely to have been living on the planet but now with Japan no longer being a non-military country and China having a vast army it is now possible for such an enormous army to come against, all these things have happened in the second half of the twentieth century.

The interesting thing is that if you look at Revelation chapter 19 verses 6 to 11 we read: "I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunder claps, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

To her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. He said unto me, write, blessed are they who are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. He said unto me, these are the true sayings of God. I fell at his feet to worship him.

He said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that has the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True and in righteousness he does judge and make war."

The only people who are going to be at the Marriage Supper of The Lamb are born-again believers who gave their lives to Christ during the time that they were alive. This means, if we take what is written to be in the order that it happens, there is no reason to believe otherwise, we shall be sharing in the Marriage Supper of The Lamb in heaven whilst the first battle of the end is taking place.

Secretly in the 1970s Russia tried to come against Israel in the way described, but the time for it to happen as written in the scripture had not yet come and God drove them away by His hand. You can be certain that they will try again and very soon, exactly when we do not yet know, but we must reach as many people as possible whilst there is still time. With our salvation assured there is no longer any reason for us to hold back.

Matthew chapter 24 verses 6 and 7 is another place where we are warned of things to come. "You shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places."

Earthquakes have been going on for thousands of years, so why do we think we are living in the end times? The answer is because now these earthquakes and natural disasters are happening on an unprecedented scale in both frequency and severity. Just last year America had its worst Hurricane season ever known, including at least 1 hurricane category 5 the highest possible category of hurricane based on its destructiveness.

Now we see that severe flooding has taken place in Maine, a state in the North West of America when the river rose by an unprecedented 30 feet. Europe has recently had record high temperatures as never before followed soon after by record flooding caused by the severity of the storms that followed the heat-wave.

On 26 December 2004 an earthquake in the Indian Ocean caused a Tsunami that devastated parts of India, Africa, Thailand and many other parts of the world. It was caused by the severity of an earthquake that had taken place along a fault line 600 miles from north to south – a fault line is an area of the earth that has been fractured and is now very weak and likely to be devastated during any tectonic plate movement (earthquake).

There have been many earthquakes along this fault line in the past rupturing short lengths of the fault line when they occur, but the earthquake of December 26 2004 was so severe the entire 600 miles of fault line ruptured. This has never before been known in recorded history.

Not only that but the earthquake measured 9.5 on the Richter earthquake measurement scale, before this there had never been an earthquake that had measured more than 8.7 so this also was totally unprecedented.

In one year off the Aegean cost in the area not far from Greece there was what is known as an earthquake storm. What happens is that when there is an earthquake in the southern part of the fault line it almost immediately triggers other earthquakes over a period of time in places moving towards the north of the fault line each time. This certainly has not been recorded or known for more than 2000 years.

The frequency of natural disasters, droughts and floods has increased dramatically in the last ten years and is so high now that instead of getting one severe natural disaster in a twelve month period you now have an average of at least six. Again in America just a short time ago many people were killed by a tornado that happened in a part of America that has never known a tornado in the past.

You might say with the communication that we have in the modern world today how could we have a rumour of a war going on? Well right now in a very remote area of Northern China there is thought to be fighting on the border with another Asian country, but the region is so remote that nobody has been able to go there to confirm this.

Famines are taking place today on a larger scale than ever before, especially in the region of North East Africa, but this is not the only part of the world where there is a disastrous famine, it is happening in India and many other parts of the world where they have never known famine before.

Recently India had its worst monsoon rainstorm that had ever been known causing Bombay to be out of communication through buses, trains and telephone lines (which means no electricity therefore even if a person there had a computer it would not work) and was inaccessible even on foot for many weeks due to the level of the flood water resulting from the sudden and excessive rainfall.

Australia is currently undergoing a severe drought where food is scarce because there has been literally no rain for years for the farmers to be able to grow the crops or feed the animals on the land that could supply the food. In other parts of the world the price of food is going up literally by the day and is so high in some parts of Africa that the poorest people cannot afford to buy it and the richer countries seem to have turned a blind eye to the situation.

Inflation in Zimbabwe has been officially recorded as 1000 per cent per week and many of the shops are closing because there is simply no food for them to sell. Nobody seems to know how long this situation will continue for. These things are certainly happening today in biblical proportions.

If you look at the writings of Paul, in his letters to the churches, particularly in Thessalonica you will see that he anticipated the return of Jesus to be very soon. If he was wrong then (as he obviously was) then why should anyone think that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent today? The simple answer to that fair question is that the book of Revelation was written more than 20 years after the death of Paul.

In the book of Revelation chapter 13 verses 16 to 18 inclusive John speaks of a society that is cashless and where nobody can buy or sell anything unless they have the mark of the beast on their forehead or on the back of their hand. "He (the beast) caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads: that no man might buy or sell, save those that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six."

When John had this vision nobody knew what computer technology was, since it would be one thousand nine hundred years before such a thing would come to pass. Today we now know that this number is a personal identity number which can be scanned onto a computer wherever in the world you are, and your transactions can be recorded on computer through the scanning of a microchip.

It has been tested in America and it is agreed that the best places to have it is on your forehead or the back of your hand (just under the skin in both cases) they have mastered this technology with animals and at this very moment a company is fulfilling its order from the US Government to make a microchip with personal information on it for every person in the whole world.

You might say "But there is not a computer in the world that could record such transactions so effectively and efficiently." Oh yes there is, in one of the EU countries there is a computer in one of the Government buildings that is so large it stretches over at least four floors of the building.

This can record every transaction of everyone in the world who is wearing a microchip. The computer is so large that it is known as "The Beast". This computer is ready to be brought in and used at the time of a one-world Government, negotiations for which have been going on for almost 60 years now and are very close to completion. Taking all these facts together we can only logically conclude that these are signs of the true Messiah's return imminently.
